Well, it really shouldn’t be winter blahs…it snowed today – so it’s beautiful.  It’s white and silvery and shimmery in the sunset.

But it was gray today as it snowed – and it is gray and boring… typing up correspondence, writing and more writing, and listening to my mother argue politics with my grandmother… boring.

And even the food is boring… it’s Pennsylvania so already I have doomed myself to bland boring food.  We went to the store and all the vegetables were just tired… how much asparagus and broccoli can you eat in one winter? 

It’s strange – I don’t think I got winter blahs living in sunny California… but working out of a basement and shivering next to the electric portable heater… so sad, isn’t it?

Even working out  – the endorphins just aren’t cutting it.

Plus, my mother and I have seen all the movies at the movie theater – so they better change the line up soon, because we got nothin!!!

So the non blahs… I leave for South Carolina in 5 days.  And I will have almost a week of beach views.  And then we head for a few days at my grandmother’s farm… which means more country and more winter… maybe I can talk her neighbor into letting me help with the goats… that would be something out of the ordinary.

Will have to attempt the outrageous tomorrow or my two loyal blog followers could unfollow me.  That would  be sad!
