I am sure many blogs begin with a…what am I doing/I don’t know what I’m doing, etc. Well, as evidenced by my lack of anything remotely stylish or savvy on this page, I am learning as I go along. And somewhat appropriate as a theme, as I am leaving Los Angeles for who knows how long in approximately 39 hours! What on earth am I doing?
I will keep you posted… and hopefully gain a little more skill on the posting front.

It’s a blog, Keely, that means you can get away with using some terse language, like “hell” as in “what the hell am I doing”. I only mention that because, in undergrad, many of my papers had that statement in the title, as in “Afghanistan Foreign Policy July 1980 to Janauary 1981: What the Hell was I thinking” (true story, and probably explains a little on my I was in undergrad for the better part of the 90s… that, the fact that I discovered that during the later part of 1980 there was no foreign Afghan policy because there was no formal government, but I digress).
Anyway… kudos… and keep on putting those fingers to the keyboard. Safe travels across middle America and in lieu of a clever Palin quote on American values (to be honest, the only quote that I remember from her is “divorce Todd!?! Have the seen Todd?” and that is more creepy then clever) I suggest you get your hands on some Bob Seger and rock out to Roll Me Away!
